This is a Hail Mary by Trump’s team that will likely fail. After all, he previously tried to move the Manhattan DA case to federal court and a federal judge denied that previous attempt. Trump is just trying to push off the criminal sentencing, which is scheduled for September.

Actually, this is pro-Nazi propaganda, including, “Churchill was the chief villain of WW2” and Hitler “didn’t want to fight.” No serious or honorable person would support or endorse this type of garbage.

It's no surprise that the judge rejected Trump's last-ditch attempt to move his Manhattan criminal case to federal court. He rejected Trump's prior attempt to do the same thing. I expect Trump to try to get this in front of the Supreme Court, typically a Hail Mary at best.

Charging the parents of shooters is becoming a trend. The father of the Highland Park shooter, Robert Crimo, was charged and pleaded guilty to seven counts of misdemeanor reckless conduct.

Our lives are defined by the choices we make during challenging times. With challenging times on the horizon, when you learn of injustice, what will you do? Posting on a social media platform won’t be enough. Words do matter, but action matters more.

JUST IN: Following @POLITICO story on fear in DOJ ranks, Trump transition figure Mark Paoletta warns career DOJ lawyers to get on board with Trump agenda or clear out. 'Resistance' won't be tolerated, he says politico.com/live-updates/2…

“Paoletta recited a laundry list of Trump goals, including mass deportations, ending birthright citizenship, issuing pardons and commutations to Jan. 6 defendants … and ‘holding accountable those who weaponized their government authority to abuse Americans.’”

Jack Smith specifically asks for a dismissal *without* prejudice, but I expect Trump's lawyers to fight for a dismissal *with* prejudice, which would prevent the charges from being reinstated after he leaves office.

"The Constitution's prohibition on federal indictment and prosecution of a sitting President ... is categorical and does not turn on the gravity of the crimes charged, the strength of the Government's proof, or the merits of the prosecution, which the Government stands fully

The big news here is that Trump's legal team did not insist that the indictment was dismissed *with* prejudice. Technically speaking, this means that the indictment could be filed in the future, if Trump is no longer president. But there are statute of limitations issues, and
