“Time is running out for our youth work sector, we need a collaborative approach to deal with these challenges head on.” The youth work sector in Scotland is suffering, so I have called on Scottish Government to recognise youth work's value by implementing co-designed funding structures.

We know youth work is a route out of poverty and a support mechanism for our most vulnerable young people, but youth work is also an essential part of a rights-based education system that develops children and young people's talents, personalities and potential to the full.
