Good lord. Has it really been that long? I started text-based role-playing in AOL chat rooms and MUDs during the mid-90s, and that's why I'm building what I am today. Wild to think that it's been 20 years of RPG · virtual worlds & simulated universes, though.

I want to unify the text-based roleplaying world into a single network of players, running clients that all speak the same protocol, without using any servers or requiring any "staff" — each player should fully control their own experience, including joining other players' games.

So the Dali was a cyberattack, right?
