Why in 2025 (2 years later) are there still Shopify stores using old cart token + version formatting? Storefront APIs don't work on these stores. Give me a way to fix this myself, and get out of the way. This fucking place is exhausting.

IMO Shopify Developers should hold their horses on all the AI fun guzzling. Admin block extension checkboxes cannot even reliably trigger the contextual save bar. Let's get the Form working first folks...

Browsing the web this weekend, making some buys, and wild how many (huge) stores have Shopify apps still showing "powered by" self promotion. Shopify Developers has this policy been rolled back? I would be pissed if I were PJ Celis / Jeremiah Prummer who called this out in December.

A wave of apps are getting BFS pulled with no notice, minor issues, or non existent issues. Shopify Developers what’s going on? Communication is key for a healthy ecosystem. Partners time and effort for BFS is not being respected here.

Once all this BFS fart-storm subsides, I shall return to my happy state of twitter observer. Though I am excited to see everyone at Editions and a few weeks, good banter for the social events at least 😆

Who is using new Polaris web components? Every element with text is resizing as a secondary font is loaded (in chrome specifically). shopify.dev/docs/api/app-h… ^^ refresh in chrome to see If you have a bunch of elements on a page, it causes a significant layout shift. 👎👎👎
