The thing about the US that was made clear last election is that there are still way too many Americans that are ok with this type of action. I suspect things will have to get worse and hit home harder before there's a significant shift in what's considered acceptable.

This is coming from a place of love and support, but… It’s ‘shoo-in,’ not ‘shoe-in.’ It’s ‘case in point,’ not ‘case and point.’ It’s ‘moot point,’ not ‘mute point.’ It’s ‘hunger pangs,’ not ‘hunger pains.’ It’s ‘jibe with,' not 'jive with.'

I'm going to *assume* that this is coming from a personal place, so that deserves some respect. OTOH, it's difficult to digest "we must use better words to describe oppressive, fascist, murderers." It's (unintentionally) giving let's also criticize the left for balance.
