Last week, the Medical Research Council awarded Alex Redmond the Supplemtary Funding for High cost Experimentation grant, which he will use to conduct RNA sequencing for his DPhil project. We are grateful to MRC for this funding, and congratulations to Alex 🎉

Our final year DPhil students Gerissa Fowler and Elizabeth Horton were awarded funding to stay in the rehwinkel lab for 6 months after their graduation. We thank The Rothermere Foundation and Medical Research Council for their support!

We have been on a lab retreat together with Nicolas Manel (@NicolasManelLab) group this week! It was great to share and listen to science for several days and spend time together in the beautiful city of Valence. Thank you to Nicolas' group to make this such a nice experience!
