Lawmakers were assassinated and wounded by a right-wing, religious extremist pretending to be a police officer and yet this story has completely faded from the national media.

Do you guys ever ask "Who are the White House officials?" Not curious at all about WHO is communicating state-to-state relations via the leader of a 1.36% party & 2 civil society leaders? What is "White House officials" when there is Bureau of African affairs?

Redi Tlhabi (@reditlhabi) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Dear SA media. A quick one. There is no "White House officials" who communicate state to state relations via a 1.36% party & 2 Afrikaner leaders. Your reports need to make a clear distinction between interest group lobbying and state relations. Groups pay lobbyists who create

I think English failed me. I was trying to say exactly this...that Mulder was not introduced as a former minister & deputy minister even. Will refine.

Redi Tlhabi (@reditlhabi) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I suspect Mulder may dodge this one. He was not sold as a former minister or deputy minister but leader of FF+, unlike Whitfield, whose speaker profile in DC said, "Deputy Minister..." thereby bringing a government identity to his trip. Opposition parties can meet whoever they

PS...I don't think The Presidency 🇿🇦 should respond every time a group of people who are not in government goes on a lobbying trip. This was pure lobbying, which is the norm in DC. Who they meet should determine the level of response. Rather focus on your own engagement & visibility

Redi Tlhabi (@reditlhabi) 's Twitter Profile Photo

DC lobbyists are making a lot of money from Africa generally. Delivering low impact engagements but big headlines because media plays along with "White House says...."

Who is the author of "the four conditions" and why did the Afrikaner leaders have to travel to DC to receive them? Methinks they authored their own conditions and then went to lobby some in the US to support their vision. And since Trump & Musk have now moved on, a new strategy

Yes, I was invited. That's where Whitfield also spoke. The Hudson Institute has been very.....eh....generous and passionate about the struggles of our compatriots.

Afrikaners and anyone else, for that matter have every right to visit whoever they want. If you concentrate long enough, you will realise that my comment is not AGAINST the visit. I am making a journalism inquiry. Ask someone next to you to explain what I wrote.

Redi Tlhabi (@reditlhabi) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I think the media can ask, but the presidency doesn't have to dignify it with an answer. It's one thing to comment on ministers and deputies. But FF+ coming to DC is allowed. They don't need a mandate from CR. Presidency has access to Trump. Why should they care about anonymous

Ketanji graduated magna cum laude from Harvard. You dropped out of community college to cosplay as a fascist. “Diversity hire” is what racists say when a Black woman earns something they never could.

Perhaps you could help us see what you see. Because what we see is: Sister in law of DP & his close friends ( one of whom is engaged to the sister in law & related to the other close friend) form a company a few months before closing date for the biggest tender in RSA. A few
