A shelter located at Hutchison High School, 3750 Geist Rd in Fairbanks, is now open for anyone displaced due to the wildfires in the interior. Anyone in need of help can relocate to this shelter and receive a safe place to stay, warm meals, water, and additional support.

Volunteers are standing by to assist anyone impacted by the wildfires in the interior. Shelter residents can expect a safe place to stay, a warm meal, snacks, water, disaster mental health, and disaster health assistance. The shelter is at Hutchison High School (3750 Geist Rd).

WILDFIRE UPDATE: A client assistance center will be open starting TOMORROW at the Tri Valley School in Healy for individuals whose primary residence was impacted by the recent wildfires. The assistance center will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Without community partners, our work would not be possible. We would like to thank the Denali Borough and Neighbor To Neighbor for their generous support of the community in Healy and those impacted by the Bear Creek Fire.

SHELTER UPDATE: At the request of the Fairbanks North Star Borough, the shelter located at Hutchison High School close tomorrow (July 11th) at 1:00 pm. Anyone still needing accommodations or assistance can call 1-800-RED-CROSS.

It's out with the old and in with the new! We are so excited to announce that we've moved our office in Kodiak. Our new office location is 720 Egan Way, and we can't wait to serve in that community. Special thanks to all the volunteers who made that transition possible.
