When I was little I thought Harold Reid from The Statler Brothers was my dad. I saw him on tv more than I saw my dad who was always working and they look a little bit alike. Harold Reid died last week, and I am sad about it. Unexpected but there it is.

Since we are calling frontline workers to come out from retirement ..... does anyone have Barack’s number? Just asking for the whole world. 🙏❤️

Thanks everyone for the feedback on my Friday tweet regarding a previous therapist. You have provided some clarity. I have to admit that the realization of how wrong he was and that I didn’t see it, is difficult to take. Have a good week everyone 💛

It doesn't matter our background, #addiction doesn't discriminate between ethnicity, class, religion, political affiliation, or education. Don't let these differences tear us apart, instead focus on the path of #Recovery and tune out the rest of the noise.

Our negative self-beliefs are part of our #trauma. They’re conclusions we came to when we were frightened. They are strong, yes. But you are stronger. #ptsd #recovery

This! It is common that people have to deal with stuff that had been buried for years when they get sober. I have sometimes felt shamed by others in recovery for talking about my struggles and not just saying sobriety is great. It is great, but it doesn’t help others to lie.
