Getting close to a very, very good starting 11 and the wider squad is looking much stronger. A LB/LCB and a LW and we are genuinely looking dangerous. With improved coaching and management, who knows the limits. It’s certainly not particularly worthy of an angry protest imo.

Do you guys think we have too many players that are almost certainly best described as ‘8s’ in the squad? Not destroyer ‘6s’ like Palhinha. Not ‘10s’ like Maddison/Simmons. Bergvall Gray Bentancur Sarr Bissouma Five players for one position. None established as an 8 yet.

Home form just not good enough. Mistakes and dead patterns are being repeated. Hoofing it long, no triangles through midfield, players looking lonely, unable to build pressure etc. What is the attacking plan?? Hoof it and hope for knockdowns? Our CF is so ineffective. #TOTCHE

That was so poor. I’m all for giving a new manager time, but this was as poor as I’ve seen under Frank. Never laid a glove on them. No creativity. No patterns. We are way off it. If I could see momentum and a sign of ascension, I’d be ok with dropping points, but this was blunt.

This feels systematically wrong. The lack of patterns. The lack of chances. I’m all for making us defensively solid, but I expect more. We look like we lack ideas. I’m genuinely not convinced Frank has the answers. If he does, why wouldn’t we be seeing a shift by now?

I know the players are angry, getting booed and it’s immediately after the final whistle, but look at THAT dynamic between manager and the players. Van de Ven is dismissive, Spence seems to be signalling disgust. That looks so broken. Players know when shit is broken. #TOTCHE
