I made it, I made it! #SlateSpeak

I have appreciated how flexible & adaptive #SlateSpeak has been in participation & in leadership. A model for how we might do community on the interwebs and in the flesh.

Also, confidence in my call. Being a #SlateSpeak mod was a consistent reminder to me of my call to hear people's stories of how they encountered the Divine.

I'm thinking of Acts. In the beginning they were such a hot mess, trying to find their way, but they did it together. We at #SlateSpeak really found our way from an actual blank slate, creating community.

When #SlateSpeak started, no one thought you could build community on Tw. And if you did, it would be short-lived, no more than year. And yet, where the Divine is, & willing hearts... miracles. Thanks for believing in the dream, @crazypastor .
