Three years ago, he was there to pick up a tiny slip bearing the name of some high-ranking foreign individual marked for killing on the order of Her Majesty’s government. A Russian target. ...culled from "Deception", a Robert Twist (MI6) thriller

I just saw, for a blink, someone's art of different variations of elf ears. Then Twitter had to update! I wanted to look at that! 😠

Not oversharing and not bothering to try and explain my perspective are two of my greatest struggles that I feel like I've made headway on. I still do it, but after 33 years, I know I will NEVER be in control of how people see me. How can I when I can't read a room?

#FantasyIndiesSeptember Day 20 Fun Facts: I cut the tip of my finger off with an axe as a kid and got it stitched back on. (I was like 4-ish?) Also I jumped an electric fence (it was off at the time) and broke into private property to save a starving stray kitten. Some shaved

#SeptemberWorldBuilders Day 20 In Sigils of Malice, the Imperil Capital of Grace is beside a cove that lets out into the greater ocean. Technically she falls into it from the railing of a warship in Sigils of Blight. It's a weird, "by proxy" fall. Kira of the Wind (Erika McCorkle)

I sell books, but I don't often get reviews and it makes me nervous. Are people afraid to be constructive? Are my books not interesting enough? It's not imposter syndrome. I know I'm a writer. I'm just insecure.

Rebecca E. Reyes (@rebeccaevita) 's Twitter Profile Photo

My post yesterday was interpreted by some as "readers should always review". That's not what I meant. I was just feeling down and questioning myself as an author because reviews are left when people finish books and if they left an impact. I'm not criticizing readers.
