Hi Octopus Energy My energy bill is a week late. You've taken my money so you know what the bill was, but could you tell me? You don't take DMs, I've emailed you multiple times, you said it was on the way, but still nothing. What gives?

Moved into a new estate last year and every single garden is pretty much just grass, carbon copy shrubs, decking, and paving. This weekend, the fightback began! #BiodiversityDay2023 #biodiversityday #Flowers #pollinators

Blinked and missed one of my neighbours hosing a new house martin nest off their house ☹️😠. Birds are back already trying to re-build. Wish I could put a sign up for them saying they'd be safer on my house. I'd welcome 100 nests.

I need some plant suggestions! Got a border between a fence and a path. It's about 80cm deep and 2m wide. The soil is horrible clay, and its too narrow for much improvement. It's east facing. Any suggestions for shrubs? Don't mind tall, but not too bushy. 🌳🌲

Does anyone know about the railway station at Berwick upon Tweed? I need to catch a train there in a couple of weeks, and it's hard to find out what the parking is like. Are there generally spaces, and if not is there somewhere else to park nearby? Help much appreciated!! 🚗

I've been working on it for over 30 years. It's almost 1,000,000 words long. Already three books, will be four. It's sci-fi, but with a bit of a feminist slant. Must be of interest to someone... #xponorth

Tawny Owls are one of our earliest nesters here in Scotland. Some pairs lay their first egg in February, but most pairs will lay in March, laying two or three eggs at different times, increasing the chance of chicks surviving if there is limited prey. #TriviaTuesday 📷Ben Andrew

My electricity bill this month was £34.12. Of that, the standing daily charge came to £18.37. I exported £16.09 from my solar panels, so the final electricity bill was £18.03. Which means I didn't pay for any electricity this month at all, I just paid the standing charge. Crazy.

What a difference a year makes! Hideous new-build soil has brought a lot of challenges, but I'll never regret taking the grass out.

In partnership with St John Scotland, Scotland’s first solar & wind powered defibrillator has been installed at our Baron’s Haugh nature reserve in memory of former warden Stephen Owens and Karen Galloway, a loyal supporter, who both died from cardiac arrest. community.rspb.org.uk/ourwork/b/scot…
