Aside from PIP, the cut to the Universal Credit Health Element is still in the Bill. This support for sick and disabled people will be HALVED from £97 a week to £50. Over 700,000 new claimants will be hit. They’ll lose £3,000 on average. That’s a £2 BILLION cut!

Peter Lamb MP 🌹 The Universal Credit health top-up remains partially frozen for existing claimants and halved for new claimants. The government has now agreed to an annual inflation adjustment. These measures will impact about 2.25 million current claimants and 730,000 future claimants.
