Delighted to be joining the board of ASCEL. Children's libraries and education library services are absolutely vital, and I'm humbled to have the opportunity to support their development in a small way.

Absolutely so. The books that are quality for children are the books that they enjoy. The job of every parent, librarian and teacher is to introduce them to as many books as possible and help them to learn to love to read.

We had a good Trustee meeting last week at Luton Library exploring our vision, mission and values & learning about engaging young people with Participation People as we consider how we include young people in our work. Fab tour of the library too. Exciting times!
