Wales online decided that the best representative picture to show the awful state of the usk drought is a tidal stretch in the centre of Newport that has a constant level year round. The other picture is of a salmon holding pool that I took in May. WalesOnline 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 sort it out.

Just had my first supervision at work 😬. Started with me being offered the H&s rep roll and a pay bump 😂💪

After my leader knot to my bimini twist failed close in on Saturday with a Ray on the end which I unfortunately lost totally, ive re thought my knot options and gone for a bimini twist with an improved allbright. Looks like it'll rattle less through the eyes as well 👌

So last Saturday night was the big test for the new Head torch. It was in constant use from 10 until gone 3am with much of that on its highest beam because the fish were biting. And all it did was drop one bar on the battery. What a bit of kit 👌
