On Sept 13, Virden #rcmpmb stopped a car on Nelson St that led to the arrest of the driver for possessing illicit tobacco. A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 8 gms of crystal meth, over 200 gms of cocaine & over $1000 cash. 43yo Thomas Olson was remanded into custody.

Yesterday, an RCMP officer had a very busy day catching speeders on Highway 1 around Portage la Prairie! Between 5:56 am and 3:43pm, 44 vehicles were fined for speeds ranging from 118 to 139 km/h in the 100 zone. We’re out there - PLEASE SLOW DOWN! #TrafficTues

Sept.14, The Pas #rcmpmb respond to armed robbery at a business in Wanless. 2 male suspects demanded money & alcohol & fled in a stolen vehicle. A 28yo male has been arrested. He was WANTED, and has been charged. Search for 2nd suspect continues.

Efforts to locate Johnson Redhead continue in Shamattawa today, w multiple teams in the area conducting grid searches, along w support from community. An additional five-person team from Garden Hill First Nation is expected to arrive this evening to assist in the search. #rcmpmb

It is with great sadness that we share the following information on the search for Johnson Redhead. Earlier, at 7:45pm, searchers located 6yo Johnson deceased. His body was found in a marshy area, approx 3.5km from the school where he was last seen.
