Two day conference for "progressive farming". 20 speakers - two female speakers. 70,000 women working on farms every day as part of one of the most important sectors to the country. But two female speakers? 🙄

Magical time Argaty Red Kites watching the beavers last night. Major public agencies and landowners incl Loch Lomond & The Trossachs Forestry and Land Scotland Former NatureScot account need to urgently get their fingers out and set up more beaver translocation areas in Scotland 🦫

From today the period where beavers can be trapped in Scotland as a last resort begins. Our team, under direction from Former NatureScot account, will work with land managers to trap beavers on conflict sites & translocate them to permitted areas where they can bring environmental benefits.

Scruff and Maple are settling in well! The siblings were successfully moved from the CornishSealSanctuary to their new long term home Wildwood Kent last week as part of a Natural England approved project. We work closely with captive care facilities to improve captive beaver care.

The idea that beavers and intensive agricultural production cannot rub along nicely is nonsense. All that's required for coexistence is understanding and respect. Beaver generated wetland in the middle of agricultural college land in Franconia.

“This translocation, which is likely the first of many that Forestry and Land Scotland will facilitate, is another great step forward in helping to expand the population of beavers in Scotland." @Lornaslater This month we released 3 pairs of beavers at Forestry and Land Scotland sites.
