Shot along the lush riverbanks of the Agano River—fondly called “The Aga” by locals—Makoto Sato’s legendary LIVING ON THE RIVER AGANO depicts the lives, traditions and livelihoods of an aging community deeply connected to the land. Screens on a 16mm import this Sat. 10/11.

This is an incredible set with five great, important films. Very proud to have edited all the new extras for this, but the archival supplements are absolutely fascinating too. An admittedly biased but strong recommendation for this one!

Holy shit. Leaked footage from THE RISE OF SKYWALKER dailies showing Mark Hamill's frustrations with the film. I didn't think this would ever come out into the open.

Imagine if they just turned this into a legitimate romance story, they became a couple & it led to a break-up and feud for Mania. Never really been done before in WWE and would add so much emotion to what could be a 5 star classic. But y'know. MAGA company. Will never happen😆

After revisiting the first season of DEMON SLAYER and experiencing MUGEN TRAIN in the series version, which was quite interesting, I'm now into fresh territory with the Entertainment District Arc and man... it's wild 😆

Man.... the film as a whole doesn't quite come together but some of the visuals (the spirit of which are captured so well here) were absolutely stunning.
