Rayonier welcomed a Society of American Society of American Foresters field trip into our Washington forests recently. Engineering Manager Mark Smalley and Forest Engineer Emily Elfering talked to students about the work they do to create buffers to protect #workingforest streams and #waterquality .
Rayonier was honored to speak at last week's Washington State Society of American Foresters Meeting. Geomorphologist Julie Dieu spoke about development of the state's unstable slopes rules while Engineering Manager Mark Smalley discussed work with local tribes on fish #habitatrestoration projects.
