I am not a fan of the waste pickers model of collection, esp in 3rd world nations. Highly exploitative, not sustainable, to the recycler & picker. what i advocate for is a direct link to the consumer/waste producer. The industry in ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ผ needs more recyclers than waste pickers!!

Ugandan artists do a cover of TODII done by the late great music legend Oliver Mtukudzi. Tuku's music had a cross-cutting impact. His authenticity and creative genius charmed the world. What will it take for the young crop of artists for them to reach such levels of impact?
