Happy Birthday to Ray Davies, The dedicated follower of fashion, seen here as his character 'Mr Flash' he bought the jacket from Harrods sale for £25 & his S3 Bentley. He wasn't that into cars that we know of, but must have liked this one, as he only sold it in 2017, pls RT

Happy birthday to Ray Davies…great left winger…football wise! Somebody once dropped substances in my drink the night before a match… Next day was challenging …there were 16 Ray Davies and 16 balls…mathematically it was never going to happen..!!

In July 1985 Ray Davies of the Kinks released his solo album Return to Waterloo, with songs based around a commuter journey from Guildford to #Waterloo station. It also formed the basis for a musical film, written and directed by Davies, with Tim Roth playing a punk rocker.
