P2/3 and 3 played hot potato today to improves their throwing and catching skills. #RPSactive

P6/7 and 7 were continuing their basketball practise today by looking at more ways to keep possession. They played a game called snatchers and a short game of basketball where we continued to work in footwork and passing. #RPSactive

Primary 4 have been learning about rainforest animals. They played a team quiz of guess the animal through the binoculars.

Primary 4 created their own rainforest animals. Some children had to label the animals features some and others had to explain why they had picked that feature. Some wild and creative designs.

Some hard work and focus going on in P4/5 for maths today. Place value was on the menu. We played games, worked together to achieve goals and had some opportunity for quiet independent practise 😊

Mrs Merrison and Mrs MacCuaig were blown away with these positive learning choices in P2/3. These children chose to practise their spelling words in different ways.

Wonderful collaborative play in P2/3. One girl started a morning exercise class for her peers, others made a magical village from loose parts and the boys made a bridge with a huge tower.

Speech marks are such an important form of punctuation; it’s how we know what someone is saying! P5 practised using speech marks to punctuate different sentences ✏️
