Nursery are deep into their learning about measuring. We are using new vocabulary to describe things being tall and short. Today we have discovered you can draw around your friends and measure them with lots of different equipment. #RPSYRN #WRM #mathsmastery

Year 6 created tableaus of a famous painting by John Singer Sargent this afternoon. They reacted really respectfully and learned how drama can help in understanding artwork and the feelings it invokes.

In year 4 we have been learning about the water cycle during our Geography lesson. The children created a water cycle and explored how it works. We focused on key vocabulary and made some great predictions! #YR4RPS #Geography

Year 6 - well done! First of all we’d like to say a huge well done to all of our Year 6 pupils. The way you have conducted yourself and tried your very hardest is to your credit! Fabulous work!

Year 6 have also enjoyed a hearty breakfast, learning about coding and the ability to crack codes in computing and creating a free-standing sculpture in art showcasing an issue they are passionate about. Watching Skellig was a great end to the week too!

An exciting Design and Technology day for Year 1 making windmills. The children had fun experimenting how to make the blades rotate.

In year 6, the Magistrates have resided to determine whether the defendant Sam Little is guilty or not guilty of the crime of harassment after hearing all of the evidence from the witnesses and defendant. Our court artists have sketched the courtroom as no photography is allowed.

Year 1 had a wonderful time on our trip to the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham yesterday to continue our science learning on plants.
