Block bindings api gets some awesome enhancements in WP 6.6🤩 But is there a way to do read-only binding to post-meta without losing the preview in block? This could be useful for example with query block. Do you know Justin Tadlock Brian Coords 💻 Nick Diego ?

Someone should take advantage of everyone in the WordPress world being distracted and switch core to use PHP short array syntax. It’s been 12 years. All the arguments against it are silly.

I think this is so far the best solution I have seen relating to mobile settings in Gutenberg. It's clean, it's intuitive and it doesn't bloat the UI. Plus it would provide true wysiwyg editing experience! Would love to see this implemented in Core!

This is not great news. Gutenberg already took 7 years, it's only going to take longer now.

Lots of changes in WordPress recently, but one thing has always stayed consistent: If you want to change the leadership and direction of WordPress, the only way is to fork the software and start building your thing.

Good ideas here! Couldn't agree more. We live in interesting times, with two no-code solutions both emerging at the same time: Block Editor and AI. I believe there’s no going back to the old ways. WordPress is shifting
