Do we really need Scottish Government to have questions greeted by applause/ table banging - time for a new start so let’s change that ? It’s embarrassing applauding the question and just not a good look - no business etc. would do that - it’s about time to change John Swinney ?

Which party will tackle the way the UK Market prices energy - surely quicker than other schemes from likes of Rachel Reeves ? The prices is the highest marginal cost per unit - not average or other method. Octopus Energy have great input here - change that and save £m quickly?

Great article by Alex Bell in the The Times and The Sunday Times — and would love Michael Gove to read it. Levelling up will benefit far more and much quicker if they start in the North, with HS2 just a glaring example. Benefits are generations away for the North yet they still focus on London & SE.

I am struggling to understand why Rishi Sunak doesn’t have a clear articulation of how to process the asylum applications backlog. It seems a no-brainer that if he could be reducing that and delivering outcomes so it is near zero in 12 months he controls the argument ? Why not ?

If you are thinking of a reshuffle at Environment Rishi Sunak then put Michael Gove their and have him play hardball with WCs - as he did on Building re cladding - the water quality is a mess and a win-win for you (and labour would have to back all of it) - apply law to win

A really insightful article on the Scottish Drug plans. It had good background and context that helped my thinking. I am stunned that these large scale changes seem to just appear rather than through debate in ScotParl Gillian Bowditch
