I will miss McCain. I did not support him as a candidate, but I truly respect his ability to stand up for what is right and as a voice for decency, especially in this era’s political climate.

He truly put country before self interest, even in the face of the highest stakes possible (see video). We could all learn from his example. Whoever takes over his mantle, in the U.S. a Senate or otherwise, will have some very big shoes to fill.
