the love does not need to be directed to me it just needs to exist

I wish I could just say your name And that everyone would know The beauty that it contained But they do not know you like I So these metaphors will have to suffice

I knew this Story with you Was through Not when I made it To the end But when I realized I’d never pick up This book again

I think I like Love like this Always in my hands to give

It didn’t feel like a poem Until you read it, felt it And let yourself sink in

when it comes to love perhaps all of the poems have already been written but this one is different it holds you within it

life is no maze that we need to trace to end up in some place  it is not about where we stand  but the flowers we gather in the warmth of our hands and that we absorb all the beauty that we can

going from poem to poem unraveling and rearranging the love into different forms
