Yes! We are doing X-country, Coach Jeremy is leading a cross country team this fall. Ages 9 yrs and older. The first practice is Mon, Sept 10th at 5:00pm at Genesee Park.   Practices are Monday and Wednesday from 5-6pm, there will be three meets. You can sign up at the RBCC.

What a great day for our first practice

Wow! what a gr8 showing at the 1st practice ystrdy. Over 100 kids came out yesterday for training. Kids 8yrs & oldr practice this Sat @ RBHS - 9 am to 11ish.  The focus will be an introduction to a number of field events.  shot. jumps. javelin.  high jump. Be there.

The Police Athletic League will join us for training. They will be with us for 5 to 6 weeks. I am excited about  this partnership. After Saturday, the next training session will next Wednesday. March 20th.  6:00 7:30 pm. All age groups will train.

Thanks parents for a great showing last Wednesday at practice. The next scheduled practice is tomorrow- Sat from 9 to about 11:30 at the grass field behind the stadium. Ages 9/10 and up ONLY.

For next week, the team does not have time scheduled at the track. I am looking into having two road training days (running hills) possibly on Monday and Wednesday. Stay tuned. I will send out another email confirming that by Sunday March 24th.

Looking Ahead: 1. I‘m still seeking clarity on scholarships availability. Contact the CC if you have ?? 206-684-1925 2. I will schl a parents mtg to discuss our return to West Seattle Stadium and the safety plan (I am in discussion with Parks Recreation Director).

From Coach Matt, Tom, Helen and Dede  Good day parents.  Welcome to a new track & field season. Please note that parents meetings are being held this week. Two meetings, you only need to attend one of them. Both 6-7pm at RBCC  Meeting 1: Mon, March 9  Meeting 2: Wed, March 11

First day of practice, Wednesday, March 18th--Rainier Beach High School track, 6:30 to 8pm

City Championship meets will take place on Mon & Tue, May 14 & May 15 at Chief Sealth HS Stadium - 2600 SW Thistle St. Monday’s meet is for ages Mosquitos and Bantams at 5:30pm. Tuesday’s meet is for ages Midget, Youth Intermediate, Young men & Young Women at 5:30pm.

Healing Circle: Monday and Thursday, 7:30- 9 pm at Rainier Beach CC in the multi-purpose room.

There is training today. Bantam and older only.

UPDATE: Summer Track Training —-Bantam and up tomorrow from 9 to 11 am. Mosquitoes will begin training on Monday.
