At first and second year state, Alpharetta advanced 3 teams to quarterfinals in second year policy. We also cleaned up the speaker awards, winning 6 of the top 10 speakers! Additionally, JM finished as the top seed and were the first and second speakers.

This weekend, Alpharetta has one varsity team (NS) competing at Pinecrest (virtually). In novice, we have two teams (AB and IS) debating!

At Pinecrest, Hargunn and Advait go 4-2 and are aff in octos (the bid round!) v. Northside; in novice, AB and IS went 2-4 and learned a lot.

We have 4 teams competing at Woodward this weekend. In novice, we have Lilly Swann/ Shelby Israel. In CX2 we have Anish Kapoor/ Abhi Dasari, Eshan Momin/ Sameer Jivangikar, and Anish Nayak/ Anish Thatiparthi. Judging is Suchetas , Hargunn, Thomas, and Advait.

Hargunn and Advait finished prelims 5-1 as the 11th seed. They were aff versus Eagan in doubles and will face the winner of North Broward DR v. Gunn SS in octos.

NS ends the TOC 3-4. It was a great, albeit unusual, year for the squad. Excited for next year!

Better late than never- at Alta, NT and JM both advance to quarterfinals and all 4 debaters earn speaker awards in the top ten. At Midtown, Cynthia and Dyumna reach novice elims, while Hasini and Ridah go 2-2 in varsity. After winter break is Samford and the BFHS!

At the TOC, Eshan and Sameer advanced to the runoff and the Anishes finished 4-3, ending a great season for Raider Debate! Don't forget the banquet is Friday!
