Someone asked me if I planned a book in advance or if I just winged it. I always write a complete (thirty page) synopsis of the book before I start work. Not only does this keep me on track, I find it's a good idea to have a synopsis to send to potential publishers.

I will not be attending Gary Con this year. This makes me sad, since this is one of my favorite conventions. But I'm in a high risk category and while I don't consider myself elderly, the amount of years I've amassed would seem to indicate otherwise.:)
