Last month, overseen by Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, RAF Odiham held a trial deploying First Person View (FPV) drones from the Chinook platform. A first for UK Forces, this promises to become vital in maintaining a modern and adaptable force.

This week, Station Commander, Gp Capt Moorehead visited The Odiham Society in Odiham Village, to see their new exhibition ‘Celebrating 100 years of flying from Odiham’ A big thank you to Mary Bennett & The Odiham Society for inviting us and creating this fascinating collection!

RAF Odiham would like to thank the Alresford, Alton, Basingstoke, Fleet and Romsey RAF Association Branches for their generous funding for the creation of 3 welfare packages. Containing morale and well-being boosting resources, they will be used by personnel deployed overseas.
