This game was more special than any other I’ve ever coached. For those who don’t know, my father, who was my best friend, passed away on Monday. I’d like to think he made his presence felt and would’ve been upset if I didn’t go and do what we both love. Love you old man.

A little late on sophomore day but I wanted to take a moment and say that I am very thankful to have this group this year. It’s not easy to embrace change and these guys laid the foundation for the future. Couldn’t have asked for more.
