Firing Frank Vogel was totally justified.

- offense was a disaster
- rotations were constantly in flux even when healthy
- he was expecting to be more of a caretaker and DC and this team needed the opposite

The hiring/firing also says more about Suns front office than Vogel.

The Suns aren’t firing Vogel without knowing they had a replacement.

Darvin Ham spent 8 years with Bud, fyi.

Fresh off a Peloton ride, here are my first thoughts on who the Suns should target to replace Frank Vogel:

The “We don’t want to trade KD so we have to fire the coach” move. Didn’t work in Brooklyn, let’s see if it does here.

Vogel is a solid coach but this was the wrong team for him. Another total misfire by Jones/Ishbia.

James Jones and Vogel should’ve been a package deal.

Having a closer is fun.

Nice to see another team make a ridiculously bad base running error for a change.

Some Heat trades I’d be okay with:

Jimmy Butler and a first round pick

Jovic, Jaquez, Herro and multiple 1’s

Rozier, Jovic, DuncRob, Jaquez and a 1st

100% should have been suspended for a game. Just moronic, petulant behavior. Might be more of a punishment to face the Wolves D again though tbh.

Joc Pederson seems to be consistently confused on what the Dbacks team colors are.

1 out of 2 ain’t bad at this point for the Dbacks. Sewald is more urgently needed right now.
