i am thinking about nazar/the evil eye and i wonder: do most journalists practice a form of resistance to positive information? i.e. im thinking they dont share their work happily because they dont want it to be stolen and sent negative energy🧿

X-Men '97's done a pretty great job of proving that it's not superhero fatigue per se that's the issue, but rather that people *have* gotten bored with by-the-numbers origin stories / heroes journeys that all just serve as set-up for the next beat five years down the line

i watched avengers infinity war solo on opening weekend in wichita kansas because i was working on a tv show down there. what a weird thought.

My hottest parenting take is that you absolutely don’t have to play kids music to kids before, like, 18 months. Babies just want simple harmonies and beats, they LOVE disco and punk, you can wait till they find out about cocomelon at school before you torture yourself.
