Late to this, but very excited and proud to have been a part of this work both on the Digital Transformation and Pandemic Preparedness: Live Performance in the G7 projects led by Pascale Aebischer who is being recognised with an MBE 🙌🏼

If we say precarity too many times it loses it’s meaning - it has a huge impact on researchers work, family & relationships says Sophie Rachael Nicholas #Vitae23 #VitaeCon2023 Eurodoc Dr Ed Darnbrough Olamide Eso

We're thrilled that The British Academy is further investing in #EDI by hiring a full-time EDI Manager role. So often, EDI is an additional role to someone's dayjob. EDICa looks forward to working with the successful role holder. Deadline is noon 5 Oct thebritishacademy.ac.uk/about/jobs/equ…

I am so glad we were able to bring the researcher experience to #VitaeCon23 through our researcher panel and our researcher bursaries sponsored by UK Research and Innovation. Very much intend to continue to find ways of amplifying the researcher voice in my work at Vitae

Interesting, and horrifying, to read the responses to this. Our fees outside of London are £1200 a month for 4 days a week (just over £1000 with tax-free childcare). The squeeze is real.

Just one more week until the publication of this volume I edited with Rachael Nicholas for Pandemic Preparedness: Live Performance in the G7 - finally getting to share this exciting work about how performers found workarounds during COVID-19 but were badly affected by the pandemic in terms of mental health. 1/2
