The wall is now down! Heavy demolition machinery is now being employed to knock the building down. The dust is unbelievable. No shade netting is erected along the boundary to mitigate against the dust as was promised by developer. City of Cape Town has done nothing. Democratic Alliance

Spoke to the building inspector. He says the site is on code and they don’t have to protect us against the dust or water it down. So there’s pretty much nothing we can do, except use our vote. #notmyDA Democratic Alliance City of Cape Town
