Today is the last day of my first vacation of residency and it was so nice spending time with family and friends. Now time to get back to work!

The last couple months have been my most difficult ones. It was the 1st time I truly felt depressed & a different level of exhaustion combined with missing those closest to me, but sometimes the unexpected happens forcing you to reflect and knowing you have support is everything!

AMEC 2024 was amazing! I am always grateful for the opportunity to network with other doctors and aspiring doctors. I really do love what I do and I love being able to share that with others. 💚💚💚 #uabmedicine #blackdoctors #amec2024
