Lesson 3 in my 'Power' Scheme is ready to rock. After a Spring Break to Kenya, this scheme is going to stay in and around the African continent for now🤩 Bir Tawil is truly fascinating and this was totally inspired by a visit from Dr Noem Lesham who had just returned from BT!

And if you are interested in the concept of 'No Man's Lands' or are intruiged by Bir Tawil, check out Dr Noem's work here: artsandculture.google.com/project/portra… Alastair Bonnett's 'Off the Map' is also an excellent read for those of you just about to embark on your Easter breaks!

One thing I love about working in Dubai is how visible you can be beyond the classroom. I think it is SO important for students to see us as people who, just like them, love stomping around a netball court!

Absolutely love seeing DC Digital Skills working his digital magic into other curriculum areas! This really illuminates the transferable skills of digital proficiency and the indispensable role of oracy across the school! Dubai Oracy Hub 💬🗣💭👥 DC Geography 💬👄

I said a very sad farewell to this lovely lot today. My wonderful Year 13s - many of whom I have taught for the last 5 years at DC. Bright, zesty, hilarious, and ready to change the world! #jobdone 🌍

So proud to be coming home with 4 international caps and a silver for the UAE in the sport which means so much to so many girls in schools right around the world. A reminder that there is so much value in what young people do beyond the classroom.
