Some far right/gender critical protestors have turned up to Brighton Pride. Bizarrely, they seem to believe that the the event is homophobic. Safe to say they’re not getting much love from the punters.

This is the reality of gender critical movement because this is their true numbers because they are not a mass movement but they are grossly over represented in media and politics.

These people crow about "not being included in pride" but they want trans people excluded and think that the majority of the community is homophobic for not agreeing with that. That's a self exclusionary position to take. Doesn't look like they were kicked out anyway.

Just Being Human ❄️💙💛 I note that one third of their cohort uses a wheelchair. This is not, obviously, a criticism. But I do wonder what the ‘gc’ hypocrites who have highlighted the number of disabled siblings on pro trans events will say.

The replies to this are hysterical… Unfortunately people are misinterpreting a very narrow Supreme Court judgement to claim that this is “illegal” It isn’t. There is currently no legal requirement to provide separate male/female toilets in public venues.

🚀Alex McDonald Not a lawyer. But am someone who’s managed multiple events and dealt with local authority licensing regularly. Show me the requirement for male/female toilets to be provided? (Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations only applies to workplaces, staff have others)

🚀Alex McDonald There are, however, plenty of lawyers that agree with my position of course. The Supreme Court judgement is quite narrow, and there’s plenty of legal commentary to that effect. A minority have decided to extrapolate from that “rules” that suit their agenda

Get LGBT+ activists off Twitter and onto the streets and you’ll get a collective march of thousands. Get “gender criticals” off Twitter and you’ll get these guys. The British commentariat appears to have deluded itself into thinking that it’s the other way around.
