A rarity to find black peat soil in the Esperance region, unfortunately only represents 0.8% of the paddock. Reminds me of the FAR trial site at Millicent Nick Poole

Cattle have selectively grazed Illabo wheat in strips ~36mt apart, paddock spread @ 36mt with 70N + 20K ~10 days prior to grazing. Is it the N or K they don’t like or both ?

Two nights in a row of small-pointed #snails fanging it after 4am on the snail cam at Gibson WA. Vid (9 Mar) starts at 3:30am. Lightest sprinkle of rain kicks them off. They fanged it last night (10 Mar) after 4am as well, even with no rain 🐌 GRDC #moreffectivecontrol

Farmax deep spader in action, spading down to 1mt in varying depths of sand over clay, bringing up clay from 0.8mt down, so many soil re-engineering / amelioration possibilities with this machine.
