The Law and the Silence: Unpacking Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Act In May 2023, Uganda passed one of the harshest anti-LGBTQ+ laws in the world: The Anti-Homosexuality Act. It criminalizes same-sex relationships with severe penalties, including the death sentence for what is
