Since people are (rightfully!!!) appreciating Dichen Lachman for the icon she is, here’s a throwback to when I ran into her after going to see Jurassic World: Dominion and she got so excited about my JP tattoo that she posted me on her story 🥹 Hanging with her is always so nice!

I don’t mean to alarm anyone but I went to see Kaya Scodelario in a play the other week and I got to meet her afterwards and she was SO kind and humble 🥹 Imagine telling teenage Steph that he would get to meet Effy from Skins one day!!!! He wouldn’t believe you!!!

Still absolutely blown away by this tbh. Can’t believe there is a fictional character that exists that is based on me??? Like, actually me??? And my name is in the credits at the start of this book??? Actually unbelievable 🥹

Honestly feels a little odd to say “Happy #TransDayofVisibility” with how much my community is suffering thanks to corrupt governments, ignorant bigots, & fearmongering TERFs who need to mind their own business, but I’m so proud to be a trans man & I’m so grateful for my journey.

Honestly incredible to see a member of parliament being so vocal and strong in their defence of trans people when I’m so used to seeing the opposite from the people ‘in charge’. More of this please.

Someone else may have pointed this out already but it’s ironic that JK R*wling created a fictional slur (Mudblood) — meaning “person with dirty blood” who can’t help being ‘born different’ — and yet she has no compassion for REAL trans folk who can’t help being born different…
