read this. feel enraged that students at our university have to undergo this treatment and abuse. we need to be doing so much more to protect Black students at university - performative solidarity will not work.

Our Black students have suffered in silence and are constantly let down by our QUB. Over the past 2 yrs the number of Black students I have had come to me with horrific instances of racism but are unwilling to report it due to the sheer lack of trust they have in QUB is just 🤯

Our Black students are in pain 💔 You cannot read this letter and not feel the pain, or see the the racist climate within Queen's University Belfast 🎓 but also in a wider societal context in NI. I strongly urge our Chancellor Hillary Clinton & Professor Sir Ian Greer to listen to our students & reflect.✊🏾
