Tomorrow is a (new moon) solar eclipse in Aries, conjunct Chiron. Many of you may be in the path of totality for this eclipse, and perhaps are even preparing to watch it if the skies are not cloudy. 1/

I am in awe of the power of eclipses to demonstrate all that is out of our hands in life, a force of nature that can irrevocably change our landscape completely. 2/

I have been reflecting on inner children. The lunar eclipse in Libra on March 25 exposed many themes around what we are expected to be in order to belong. 3/

While these expectations are often a societal concern they begin in early life with our families, each a mini society with spoken+unspoken rules of who+how we must be in order to belong. Disrupt the balance, and either the family rules accommodate the change, or we're cast out 4/

Our personal Libra houses+placements describe whether we had a seat at the table in negotiating these subtle laws, or whether we had to choose early in life between the survival of becoming who we were expected to be, or the survival of being cast out in order to breathe+exist 5/

Tomorrow’s eclipse in Aries conjunct Chiron sticks a finger in the wound of these survival strategies. If we became who we were expected to be in order to participate in the family+cultural systems we were born into, we harbour a great wound around what never became within us. 6/
