Working hard and getting what you want? Yeah that's cool. But I'll tell you what matters more? Dealing with disappointment when you don't get what you slogged for.

Lunch at Padaria Prazeres, Panjim. Ham and cheese in a brioche bun, Bacon lettuce tomato sandwich, chocolate chip cookie. Not in pic: Cold chocolate, hot mocha and a pasteis de nata.

Breakfast at Padaria Prazeres. Pork sausage roll, chili cream cheese bun, Baileys Berliner, and garlic bun.

It’s a four espresso morning for me.

Lunch at Bombil Goa. We had recheado bangdas, pork amsol and teesryo sukkem. Most delicious

Dinner at Casanoni Trattoria in Fontainhas. We had Pappardelle with duck ragout (didn’t take a pic), diavolo pizza, tiramisu and aruguani. An excellent dinner indeed.

Coffee at Padaria hits the spot. They use Subko beans. We had a Cortado and an espresso.
