The way Scott navigated this conversation was beautiful. Noticing that she wanted this to be a joyous moment and conversation, even though you can hear her grief, so deciding to hold back his own sorrow, pause, and make the pour celebratory? Masterful!

Always struggled with how fast people move on to the past tense. Like yo' ...wait ..hold up! Funeral arrangement* meetings are especially brutal. Like how are you so matter of fact about it? It still feels like a bad dream... This is so beautiful to watch & rewatch ❤️‍🩹❤️❤️❤️❤️‍🩹

The framing GoK is using here to say this is 'radical transparency' is also wildly disingenuous. The default position is that if you take other peoples money, you owe it to them to tell them everything about how you've used their resources, not tiny fractions of it.
