Member of @qot_uw, Antoni Mikos-Nuszkiewicz, from the team of Konrad Banaszek, presented his research at the European Space Agency Quantum Technologies conference in Heraklion today 🇬🇷. More talks from our team coming tomorrow. Quantum for space research is a major part of QOT (FENG) FNP Foundation for Polish Science.

I'm pleased to say that our Centre for Quantum Optical Technologies lab at Uniwersytet Warszawski is also part of the Q-PLANET undertaking, led by Pasqal - Quantum Computing. We hope to bring major advances to atom quantum technologies. But before we can even start, I hope we can actually get the national co-funding in Poland 🙃

We're excited that our new paper is out in Nature Communications at nature.com/articles/s4146…. For the first time, we show a truly all-optical superhet radio receiver based on Rydberg atoms. It's a strong step towards applications of this quantum sensing technology.
