Keep the power in the hips! No matter how long of a stride you end up with or have to do, put the power in the hip by keeping the back foot on the ground. Even just the toes making contact with the ground give the hip enough rotation power to keep your form! Max Hammer QB|100

You heard the man…leaving your back foot down provides the hip power you need in order to make the throw your arm thinks it’s making! Coach Jason QB/100

When loading the hip for power, this is one of the best drills to see the balance or if the hip is overextended before the throw. First clip shows too much forward motion Second clip shows loading the hip and sitting back with great balance. Coach Jason QB/100
