The Qatar World Cup should be renamed to #slaverycup. Qatar used migrant workers to build their stadiums, and since building started, over 6,500 have died. These workers have had to live in horrific conditions, whilst many have not been allowed to leave. theguardian.com/global-develop…

Boycotting the 2022 world cup is the only acceptable way to fight inequality in this tournament and fight the corporate greed that FIFA have over morals. #boycottqatar2022

If you believe in human rights, LGBT rights, and are against modern slavery, then you should boycott the #Qatar2022 #WorldCup. Let's show FIFA that we do not tolerate human rights abuses, and do not appreciate them holding a major tournament in Qatar. #BoycottQatar2022

We respect the English footballers for everything they have done. But if they want to build on their amazing work, they need to #BoycottQatar2022. That is the only way to approach the next #WorldCup England.

Many migrant workers had their passports seized so they cannot leave #Qatar to go home. Migrant workers are also not allowed to search for different jobs (Amnesty International). This is #moderndayslavery. Stand against this. Join us and #BoycottQatar2022.

The workers who are building the #WorldCup2022 stadiums are being forced to stay in their job, with many having their passports taken off them. Many are also not being paid on time. It's time to #BoycottQatar2022. pic.x.com/dhUF7gy4H0

If countries chose to go to Qatar 2022, we must respond. Protest, do not watch the football, and tell your friends to do the same.

For the people going out to Qatar to protest this world cup next year, we stand in solidarity with you. But PLEASE stay safe. The Qatar Government has a track record of NOT respecting human rights.

We have to say, if England attend Qatar 2022 it would be a disappointment. Do the squad care more about black lives in the west than those of slaves in Qatar? Why not support both groups of people, and BOYCOTT QATAR 2022.

If Southgate is serious about human rights, he will not attend Qatar 2022. And to Al Khater: there has been proven to be migrant workers who have been paid so little, and have little to no rights. Passports have been taken away. This world cup has blood on it'd hands.
